Multi award winning, Dr Doirean Wilson is the country’s foremost authority on cultural awareness. She has been invited to share her insights or to create bespoke toolkits by leading organisations including Deloitte, KPMG, West Ham FC, The Bank of England, POST (U.K. Parliamentary Office for Science & Technology) and more recently the Met Police. Her research and insights on ‘The Meaning of Respect’ has received numerous commendations from academics and business leaders worldwide.
Dr Wilson is also a keynote speaker and guest on HRM panels in Europe, the Caribbean, Africa and the US and has run HR Master Classes for HR Business Leaders worldwide, including China. Dr Wilson’s qualifications, experience and work in diversity, specialising in race (one of the 9 protected characteristics of the Equality Act 2010) is undisputed. As well as authoring over 50 publications, Dr Wilson sits on a number of advisory boards and is a Fellow of the European SPES Institute. She has 5 fellowships that include FCIPD, FRSA, Snr. FHEA, holds a DProf.Practice, MA HRM, and is a strategic HRM Snr Lecturer (Practice) at Middlesex University, London, as well as Chair of the University’s Race Network and founder and Chair of the popular EDUBATE current affairs panel series event, which takes place in October each year.
